I’ve just been buying frozen garlic bread and I didn’t know that a home-made one is so much better until Andrew made one. I even asked him what’s the brand of the garlic bread that he got because it tasted so good. Then he showed me the garlic skins of all the garlic he chopped. Ooops!

Crunchy garlic bread

I tried to do it myself. I went to Baker’s Delight and asked one of the girls on what bread should I get if I’ll be making garlic bread. She said that I can use any of the bread, and all will taste good. But I had to choose one! I got 2 Pane di Casi rolls and just sliced it at home. I think the bread stick will be too much for 2 people and garlic breads are not really good the following day.

So you just melt unsalted butter, mince 3 cloves of garlic and chop some fresh parsley. Ok, I cheated. I didn’t use fresh parsely, I just those ones in the tube. Well, they last longer than fresh parsley, but maybe using the fresh ones would’ve made the garlic bread taste better. You add the garlic and parsley into the melted butter. I also added parmesan cheese for extra taste. Then you’ll just spread the mix to the sliced bread and put the bread into the oven for about 15 mins or until you see that the garlic is already roasted.
